have my xanga days seen the last???

No.....not yet. It seems to me that many people have questioned where I have gone? Well I have not jumped ship yet!! Many people say Dave, how about facebook? How about myspace? Me? I say what about xanga? I'm not giving it up yet. I'm just busy these days. I left my first "big boy" job. It was not a good "fit" for me. I am back at Omni Visions where I did my internship. I am a Resource Coordinator and I am loving life. I'm still dating my lovely girlfriend. We have ups and downs, but we are still dating!! I also am looking for a new church? Suggestions? I am living with my brother, MIKE JONES!! LOL!! I am looking forward to the NFL draft! The panthers signed Keyshawn Johnson. They look good for next year! I'm out for now. If you got questions...go to radio shack, and maybe I'll have a few as well!!!!

    ehh (shrugs shoulders)

Not much of a great day, but not bad. Last night was crazy!!!!! I went out with friends from work, met up with my roommate and his friends from out of town, sang some Kareoke, went to a drag show, and watched my roomie go all to hell, You can ask questions in person only. Any how.... it was fun. Today all the undefeateds in college basketball left, which means UT is 12-3 and 2-3 against Top 5 opponents....and still unranked. That stinks!!! ETSU won by like 33. And I went to see King Kong. All-in-all, an interesting day. I'm out Xanga!!! Go Panthers!!!!

To quote the group Stain'd, "It's been a while."

Well, well, well...I must say, I have missed Xanga, but my time away has not been in vain. Since my last posting I have graduated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo-Hoo!!!I have celebrated a year and now 13 months together with my beautifull girlfriend!! I have, what I like to call my "big-boy job" as a family counselor. I won not one, but TWO Fantasy Football Championships!!!!(over fierce competition like Chase Hampton, Mike Hacker, Adam Franklin, and Greg "Short Dogg" Jones"-y"!!!!) I have made my first trip to Chicago (right now, I prefer NY, but I'll give Chi-town another go later). And I have watched my Carolina Panthers dominate the end of the season with a 44-11 win over Jesus Vick's Falcons, a shut out against Peyton's little brother, Tiki, and the rest of the Giants, and then delivered a knock-out blow to the league's number one defense, the CHI-CA-GO Bears!! One more win in Seattle and we'll be representing the NFC for the 2nd time in 2 years in the SuperBowl!!! SUPER BOWL XL!!! Detroit here we come!!! Go Panthers!!!! Well, I'm out!!! Talk atcha later!!! Happy Jones? Ha!!!

About Me

  • What can I say? I'm 29 years old and I just got my bachelor's degree in Social Work, and I'm now employed by a therapeutic foster care agency. I love my friends and my life. I feel that life is a never-ending act of worship. Some of you may be saying, "Hey Dave, your life doesn't always look like worship." Well, look at it like this. We have really great worship services at times and we have really off ones some times. My life, I feel, is a series of these times sewn together by the threads of faith, hope, and love. The material? My friends, my endeavors, and my aspirations. And hopefully my Maker looks at this"tapestry" and while He sees places in it where maybe I messed up some stitches, or used the wrong thread, but overall He sees the finished work and the character that these spots bring to the piece as a whole.
